傣族民族舞剧《孔雀公主》

         傣族民族舞剧《孔雀公主》是根据记载在2000多年前的中国云南西双版纳傣族贝叶经上的一个动人的爱情故事改编的民族抒情舞剧。

         很久很久以前,在丰饶祥和的西双版纳雨林深处,有一个神奇而美丽的金色湖泊。在金色湖泊旁边有一个善良而富蔗的国家-勐东版孔雀国。孔雀国有七位美丽的公主,其中美丽又贤惠的小公主楠木诺娜,深受姐姐们的宠爱。高貴美麗的她们经常到金湖沐浴嬉戏。

        在西双版纳的高山上还有一个国家----勐版加国。那兒有一位英俊的王子----召树屯,他善良勇敢,而且武功过人, 尤其善射,百發百中。是一位人民愛戴的王子. 一个晴朗的午后,七位孔雀公主又飞来金湖边,脱去孔雀羽衣,下到清澈的湖水里沐浴。孔雀公主们在湖中嬉戏,正好被前来金湖边狩獵的召树屯王子发现。七公主楠木诺娜超凡的容貌, 高貴端莊的氣質深深的迷住了召树屯王子, 王子澈底沉醉在這仙境中, 突然, 一個黑衣人闖入, 偷走了楠木诺娜的孔雀羽衣, 王子召树屯挺身而出, 拔箭射中黑衣人,拿回了孔雀羽衣。楠木诺娜被召树屯王子的勇敢英俊而打動, 兩人一見鍾情. 王子為楠木诺娜戴上了珍貴的手镯做為定情的信物. 天色已晚, 两人恋恋不舍的告別, 分别回到自己的国家。数月后,召树屯王子歷盡艱辛, 長途跋涉來到勐东版孔雀国, 見到了皇后, 说明求婚的来意,皇后示意王子召树屯,如果在七位蒙着面纱的公主中准确地认出楠木诺娜,就同意召树屯的求婚。在故意设置的种种假象中,王子终于认出了自己戴在楠木诺娜手腕上的手镯, 召树屯王子揭开楠木诺娜的面纱,又见到了自己日夜思念的情人。楠木诺娜在姐姐们的陪伴下和召树屯高高兴兴地回到了勐版加国,勐版加国的人民兴高采烈的欢迎來自勐东版孔雀国尊貴客人們, 並為召树屯王子和楠木诺娜公主这对恋人舉行了盛大而隆重的婚禮。從此勐东版孔雀國
和勐版加国世代修好, 永远同心.

 

PEACOCK PRINCESS – A LOVE STORY
(Adapted from a Dai Minority Folk Tale)


           Once upon a time, in King of Men Banza Dai minority region of China, there was a Dai chief named Zhao Meng Hai. His son, Prince Zhao Shu Tun, a skilled hunter was very handsome and brave and many young women liked him very much. But, Zhao Shu Tun was waiting for the love of his life.
         In another part of the region- Men Hodonghan region, there lived 7 peacock princesses.  They often came to a golden pond to bathe, dance and play.  One day as the prince was passing through; he saw seven peacocks fly from the distant horizon to the lake. After landing, they took off their peacock cloaks and played and danced in the lake.  Zhao Shu Tun immediately fell in love with the seventh princess, the most beautiful one of all - Princess Nanmumuona.  When he retrieved her peacock cloak that was stolen by a thief, he became her hero and she too fell in love with him.  Their time spent together was happy but brief, so before returning to his palace, he presented the princess with a jade bracelet as a token of his love.
         Months later, the Prince returned to ask the Queen for Princess Nanmumuona’s hand in marriage.  The Queen agreed but only on the condition that the Prince pick out the one he loved from the seven daughters whose faces was covered with veils.  He chose the princess wearing the jade bracelet and to his delight, lifted the veil to find his beloved Princess Nanmumuona.
        The happy couple was accompanied back to the Prince’s home by the six princesses for the extravagant wedding.  People from both regions sent their blessings and best wishes.  As a result of their marriage, the two regions forged a strong friendship and everyone lived in harmony and happiness thereafter.
